Synopsis
The popular presenter sets out to discover who his father’s mysterious father was. Why do children in Karel’s family tree keep getting separated from their mothers, and in which part of the world will Karel Šíp find the answers? What drove his ancestors to leave a quiet Chod village at the beginning of the last century, and what awaited them in the whirl of the Austro-Hungarian capital?
The history of our country told through the stories of a single family — the Czech version of the popular BBC format, made under licence.
